We can supply two types of polycarbonate: standard quality polycarbonate and visual grade polycarbonate.
In the visual grade the positioning of the cells is checked one by one to have a higher quality. For this reason its turning could have higher costs.
In standard quality we provide a product of excellent quality but which can sometimes have the lack of a cell that does not affect its use at all as long as it is not that of lighting.
Lighting customers are therefore requested to always indicate the need for a visual quality nest.
The main fields of application of the polycarbonate honeycomb are deflectors for laminar directional flow ventilation, ventilated curtains for the commercial refrigeration industry, wind tunnels and climatic chambers.
With the alveolar deflectors in polycarbonate, the efficiency and effectiveness of the flows are considerably increased, eliminating turbulence, reducing pressure drops, energy consumption and noise.

The versatility of the honeycomb is also demonstrated by the way it manages to channel the light beams.
The polycarbonate honeycombs with a density of 200 kg / m3 are also excellent shock absorbers for the protection of the vehicle, while using lower densities, lightweight and breathable anti-shock structures are created.
CEL honeycombs have set new standards in terms of energy absorption. In fact, the uniform crushing of the cells absorbs kinetic energy at a constant compression level up to a reduction of 78% of their initial volume. CEL provides special densities according to the desired energy absorption level.
The transparent colored polycarbonate can also be used for decorations and special applications.
